Pricing
One platform. You pay for projects and AI usage — nothing else.
Every tier is the same product — full site characterization, the grounded assistant, the complete economics engine, exports, white-label deliverables, bring-your-own-key, and unlimited seats. The only two things that change as you move up are how many projects you can run and how much included AI usage you get. We never gate the methodology, the data, or the tools — including on Free.

What every tier shares
Every tier is the same product — Free is a real project, not a stripped-down demo. On every tier, including Free, you get:
- Full site characterization across roughly three dozen public datasets
- The grounded project assistant with full project memory
- The complete economics engine — NPV, eligibility, stacking, Monte Carlo, and the literature-based value range
- Regulatory checklists and the complete literature corpus at every quality tier
- CSV, JSON, and GeoPackage export, signed PDF manifests, and white-label deliverables
- Bring-your-own-key — run AI on your own Anthropic key
- Unlimited seats with admin / editor / viewer roles
- The quarterly data-freshness SLA and the open, inspectable methodology
What changes by tier — only two things
- How many projects you can run. Free and Solo, 1; Practice, 5; Firm, 25; Enterprise, unlimited. Need more on Practice or Firm? Add project-packs ($300 per project per year) instead of jumping a tier.
- Your included monthly AI allotment. A larger bundle of AI credits as you move up, sized so typical use never reaches it.
Nothing else is gated. We don’t lock methodology, data quality, exports, collaboration, or governance behind a higher tier.
How billing works
Every paid tier is available annually (the per-month prices above) or monthly at roughly a 20% premium, with identical features either way. The value metric is projects: every project you create counts toward your plan’s limit — including archived and frozen ones — so the limit reflects your total projects, not just the ones open right now. Archiving or freezing a project makes it read-only so another can take its place as an active project.
AI usage
Claude usage is metered in AI credits, with a monthly included allotment on each tier — the one capacity that scales with price alongside project count. As a workspace approaches its allotment, runs fall back to lighter model routing before anything stops, so you are never cut off mid-work. Overage is buyable in credit packs at cost. Bring-your-own-key is available on every tier and bypasses the meter entirely: run inference on your own Anthropic key, pay Anthropic directly, and pay Orenna only for the platform.
The free tier
Free gives the whole platform on one project for 30 days. After that the project freezes to read-only — still fully viewable and exportable, never deleted — until you upgrade, which unfreezes it in place. The 30-day window is the only thing time-boxed; the capability is the same as every paid tier.
Why the prices sit where they do
The workbench is priced under the usual purchase-approval gates, not at the ceiling a consulting engagement would bear. You are paying for the maintained government-data integrations, the freshness SLA, the grounded corpus, and the neutral-verifier trust, not for the model. Bring-your-own-key makes that explicit. If you have an academic, NGO, or tribal use case and the price is a barrier, email us; we do not want pricing to keep an under-resourced steward off the tool.
